Tonight I went to the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Mother's Day Banquet. I went for my mother. And that is the only reason. I quit going to that church more than 20 years ago and every time I go to something there, I remember why.
But, it was nice because Jenny, Abby, Sarah, Anne and I were all there. So, it was for Mom.
And now I am going to treat myself and go to bed.
Oh, I did get a sweet card from Aidee (and Coe). It was in Spanish, but still, I could read it. I love here...and miss her too.
Tomorrow Rachel is stopping by on her way back to DC. We are taking food from Shotos over to Joe and Becky's house for lunch.
